How to make High Quality Glitters.
I know different people make glitters differently. I've been told that my glitters are high quality. I think they're only SEMI HQ but have been asked to make a tutorial on how to make glitters that look similar to mine so I'm going to do that. Making HQ Glitters like this ---> Image and video hosting by TinyPic Things used in this tutorial: Background Transparent Glitter Fill (you will have to highlight to see where it's at.) Paint Shop Pro 9 Animation Shop Lokas Artistic Effects 1. Open 2 White images sized 400x400. 2. After you have the clear glitter fill & the glitter background above saved to your computer, open them in animation shop. 3. Copy and paste all your fills to psp! 4. Go to your patterns and select your glitter background 5. Flood fill one of your white boxes with your glitter background. 6. Go to your other image and select your text tool by hitting "t" on your keyboard. 7. Type something out. As you can see.. I used my name. You choose what you want it to say, the font you used (I used Grobold - size 72), and what color you want your text to be! 8. Once you have chosen all that, time to make it look glossy. Go to Effects -> Plug-ins -> Lokas Software -> Aqua. THESE ARE MY SETTINGS You can use them if you want. 9. Now go to Selections -> Modify -> Expand and expand it by 2 pixels. 10. CTRL + C will copy your image. Click on the 400x400 image with the glitter background and CTRL+E. That will paste it into your other image. 11. Effects -> 3D Effects -> Drop Shadow. (I normally use the same color as my text unless I'm doing multicolored text then I use a darkish grey or black!) You are now ready to add your transparent fill! 13. Make sure your text is still floating. (has the marching ants around it.) Go to your patterns again and click on your first transparent fill image. 14. Hit "f" on your keyboard, and you're ready to fill it in to your text! 15. Hit CTRL + C after you have filled your image with your clear fill, ALT + TAB to Animation Shop, and CTRL + V. 16. Repeat steps 14 (with your next transparent fill image.). 17. CTRL + C it and switch to animation shop. This time, INSTEAD of hitting CTRL + V, hit CTRL + SHIFT + L. That will paste your second image right after the first frame! 18. Repeat step 14 again with your third and last transparent fill image. 19. Repeat Step 17. Now you can click view animation in animation shop and viola.. You've got a HQ (or semi HQ) glitter. Please try this tut out so I know how well I do with tutorials
